The students will use several different programs at the end of the year and combine them into a digital story. The instruction that is needed for this lesson will take place throughout the year including taking pictures, learning how to compose their own music, and how to use iMovie to compile audio, visual and effects before they are able to publish their digital story.
The goal of the lesson is to show students that programs can be used together to create great things. Just because a program has one function and you know how to use that function, how can you use programs together to create something greater. The lesson will also incorporate a Microsoft word option for storyboarding. This will allow the students to plan out what they are going to take pictures of and what they are going to say during the pictures.
